ST Math is an instructional computer program that helps build student’s conceptual understanding of math and allows them to engage in activities that are motivating, challenging, and rigorous. These activities allow students to build a deeper understanding of math through creative problem solving.
ST Math is a district wide initiative and our students are required to engage with it between 60-90 minutes a week. On ST Math, there is a character that our students have grown to love named JiJi. Our students had the privilege of meeting JiJi on November 22nd, when he visited our school! JiJi went around to every classroom to say hello, give awards to students with the most progress on ST Math, and provide encouragement to keep moving forward!
Everyone had a great time meeting JiJi and we hope he can come visit us again soon.
