Published in 1968, Corduroy has been a favorite of children for years. The book tells the story of a teddy bear named Corduroy who’s on display in a department store. A little girl sees Corduroy sitting on a shelf and wants to buy him. The girls mother refuses to buy Corduroy because he has a missing button. Later that night, when the department store closes, Corduroy find himself on an adventure to look for his missing button.
