Polar Express Pajama Jam!

To celebrate the holiday season, North Elementary had a hallway decorating contest. Grade levels decorated their hallways resembling scenes from the popular children’s movie the Polar Express. Rockin’ Out with Reading Power

Mr. Orbe, North Elementary School Principal, wowed the crowd with his lively performance of Jingle Bells and Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer at Reading Power’s holiday celebration. Reading Power serves the children of North Chicago by providing early literacy interventions to pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first, and second grade students. Take a Listen!

Thank You Salvation Army!

The Salvation Army brought joy to the students of North Elementary when they donated over 300 toys, games, dolls and other goodies.  Every student went home with a gift of their choice. The children were excited to see Santa and Mrs. Clause took time out of their busy schedule to drop in to pay a visit.
