Kiwanis Foundation Donates Backpacks

On August 15th parents and students visited Alexander Elementary School for their annual “meet and greet.” While there, students in kindergarten were treated to a new backpack filled with books. The backpacks were donated by the Kiwanis Foundation of Lake Bluff & Lake Forest. Get Totally Eclipsed

On Monday, August 21, 2017, students and staff from Alexander Elementary School wore their special “eclipse glasses” to observed the partial solar eclipse! Students enjoyed Lunch with a Book at North Elementary

On Tuesday, June 6th, students enjoyed Lunch with a Book. In collaboration with Organic Life‘s, Erica Arlinsky and District 187’s Purchasing/Meal Coordinator, Susan Oglesby, students had the opportunity eat their lunch while reading a variety of children’s books.
